The Old Faithful Inn opened in 1904, near the Old Faithful Geyser in the heart of Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
This icon hardly needs an introduction, for more than a century log and timber frame building this colossal suspended (probably the largest log house in the world) has influenced and inspired the construction of national park lodges of all that followed.
This massive log structure is nearly 700 feet long and stands seven stories high in hisCenter. The central part is also known as the Old House is the first thing that you reserved upon arrival. The towering steep gabled roof is topped with sliced over three stories with dormers, a crow's nest lookout platform at the peak.
The Old Faithful Inn has a solid roof, which makes the seven to six stories, the building includes the main house and contains one of the most historically prominent and respected interiors anywhere in the world.
The large lobby towersover ninety-feet from the ceiling. A forest of exposed beams and spot beams subjected to support the massive roof over and creates an unforgettable Cathedral of open space in the lobby. Multiple levels of loggias with covers made of rustic wood balusters and branches of the room offers expansive views of the large lobby.
A monumental four p.m. fireplace adorned with a giant square feet of brass and wrought-iron clock anchors the room. This is undoubtedly the "queen"all National Park Lodges. Guests can use the historic Old Faithful geyser eruption from the comfort of a spacious terrace on the second floor, accessible view of an internal balcony. The area around the huge fireplace in the lobby is furnished with historical furniture, mission, rustic hickory chairs, rockers, upholstered sofas, chairs, tables covered with old leather.

Mid-range rooms are comfortable with one or two queen-size beds with private bath, basin and toilet.
Rooms with bath-out: rustic, simple rooms with queen-size bed or beds, a sink with hot and cold water. Shared bathrooms and showers are just down the hall.
Accessible rooms: nice room with a queen-size bed and bathroom are privet. The baths have shower-hose systems, sinks and toilets are available fitted with handrails. These rooms are all located inthe first floor.
The Old Faithful Inn is open seasonally from mid May to mid-October.
